🚌 What a ride it has been for bus drivers Bernice Meyer and Chris Steines who are retiring! Mrs. Meyer has been a Central DeWitt driver for 44 years and Mrs. Steines for 33 years. We are sad to see them go, but are so grateful for their dedication and all the miles they safely transported our students over the years. We wish them well on their new journey! #gosabers #centraldewittcsd #busdrivers #centraldewitttransportation #schoolbus #happyretirement #thankyouforallyoudid #weappreciateyou

After reading the book Balloons Over Broadway, Ms. Smith and Mrs. Jackson’s Peer STEM students were inspired to put on their own balloon parade, similar to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The students created paper mache balloons and attached them to bee bots which they programmed to follow a path for the parade. They also helped create the colorful background for the parade. Great job, Sabers! #gosabers #centraldewittcsd #cdms #cdis #peerSTEM #balloonsoverbroadway #balloonparade #saberssucceeding #STEM

On Monday, Ms. Sage’s Meal Management students got their hands dirty when they visited one of the urban farming plots tended to by Tapestry Farms. The students helped plant green beans which, along with other produce grown by Tapestry Farms, will go to the River Bend Food Bank to help area families in need.
