This morning, a local business alerted us to a fundraising scam. A third party claiming to represent CDHS Tennis asked for donations, saying it was to celebrate the girls team making it to state.

⚠️ Important: Only CDHS athletes or coaches will ever reach out for fundraising. If a business or individual is unsure, we encourage them to contact the Central DeWitt Activities Office to confirm before donating at (563) 659-0715 or erik.johnson@cd-csd.org.

🎨 During Homecoming Week, all Ekstrand Elementary students and staff got to leave their paw print on a special collaborative art piece! Led by art teacher, Ms. Janaszak, this project brought everyone together to showcase creativity, teamwork, and Saber spirit. 🐾

🍕 THANK YOU to The Education Foundation of Central DeWitt and to everyone who purchased or donated a pizza during their fundraiser to kick off Homecoming Week! Thanks to our community’s generosity, 200 pizzas were delivered to local businesses and residents— 37 pizzas went straight to our schools!

This fundraiser supports such an important cause, with proceeds going directly toward educator grants that enhance learning opportunities for our students. 💛

📚🌎 This week CDHS Spanish 3 & 4 students teamed up with 5th grade ELA for a special lesson on the Aztec, Inca, and Maya civilizations. Spanish students designed creative activities that tied into the 5th graders’ current unit while also adding elements of the Spanish language. This cross-grade partnership made history come alive and created a unique learning experience for everyone involved! 🙌
