In an article published in the DeWitt Observer, it was announced that there will not be in-town bus routes for the 2020-2021 school year. We’d like to clarify that this decision has not been made. It was only one of many considerations the Central DeWitt Community School District had looked at to support social distancing for our students and help protect our bus drivers. Please know that any changes to the structure of our transportation or school day will always be communicated with our Saber family before the general public. Since the article was published there have been other developments from Governor Reynolds and the Department of Education that have changed plans we shared and decisions that were previously made. Tomorrow we will be sharing these updates as well as other important information about our Return to Learn Plan with parents and students.
